Bio:

Edward Pennington

Captain Pennington has served in the Mobile Infantry for nine years, and Graduated Officer’s Candidate School on Sanctuary in the same year as the outbreak of the Second Space War. From the beginning throughout the course of the entire war, Pennington served on Cappella. His first tour was with 1st Regiment, 4th MI Division (dubbed ’Penny’s Pathfinders’). Upon being commissioned as 1st Lieutenant, he was assigned to the Dick Winters and for the past six years commanded Fox Company during its second Cappellan tour and was instrumental in the successful execution of Operation Eight, the war-winning strike which forced the Tarka to capitulate and ended the Second Space War. As a result of the unit’s stellar performance he was promoted to Captain.

After participating in the Selene Incident, Operation Fishhook, Operation Alba Longa, and Operation Crow’s Nest, Pennington was promoted to Major and left Fox Company in the hands of newly-minted Captain Amstill Brown. During the First Battle of Klendathu when the MI under General Diennes were forced to retreat, Pennington deliberately diverted his personal EVAC shuttle to return to the surface to save Captain Brown, Sergeant Bakhtiar and the survivors of Fox Company. As a result, he never left the surface of the planet and is missing and presumed dead.
